Over eight months, our film crew traveled to six states to interview the best boat racers in the world for Hall of Champions. For Engle Digital, based in Lakeland, FL, the documentary took us far beyond Central Florida to capture the people and stories behind the sport.
We were honored to get to capture Fred Miller’s story and his connection to the American Power Boat Association’s Hall of Champions. Directed by Jack Polly and Will Engle, the film was shot on Sony FX6 and A7IV cameras with Blazar Remus cinema lenses, with a score by Luke Wilmoth.
Hall of Champions premiered in Reno, Nevada, in January 2025. Looking back, we’re grateful to everyone who shared their time and memories with our film crew and helped bring this documentary to life. Watch Hall of Champions.
